I work in IT, mostly helping people untangle systems that stopped making sense somewhere along the way.

I’ve spent over a decade troubleshooting software, workflows and the occasional human panic and I care a lot about clarity, documentation and fixes that actually stick.

I also write and edit, with a background in technical documentation and newsroom work. I’m interested in how technology, institutions and people quietly fail and how they can work better.

Outside of work: homelabs, system hygiene, wandering and philosophical detours.

What I do

  • Technical support & calm incident triage
  • Troubleshooting across apps, devices, accounts, workflows
  • Documentation that people actually use
  • Editorial work — research, writing, cleanup

Now

  • Home base: Vancouver, B.C.
  • Current focus: stability, simplicity and good systems
  • Principle: boring fixes beat clever hacks
